Did you know the Kokanee are considered to be sockeye Salmon that spend their whole life in fresh water? The two young male Mallard ducks seem quite bemused to be swimming in so much traffic.  They are just getting their colored feathers on their heads.  This rocky stream is in Banff National Park and rumors are that the salmon numbers are increasing very well in the interior of B.C.  Whether just site seeing, catching or painting, it is wonderful to see our wildlife thriving.

Sandra would love to hear from the couple who bought her first limited addition print at sjohnman@shaw.ca.  She has a special surprise for them.
